Samsung has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India by launching the Galaxy A08 4G. Arriving after its initial release in several international markets, the new handset focuses on long battery life, a large display, and essential features at an affordable price.
The Galaxy A08 is now available through Samsung’s official online store and partner offline outlets. It is offered in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration, priced at INR 18,499.
At the front, the smartphone sports a 6.7-inch LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, making everyday scrolling and navigation smoother. For photography, the rear setup includes a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Selfies and video calls are handled by an 8MP front camera placed inside a waterdrop-style notch.
Powering the device is a large 6,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP64 protection, and One UI 8 software. The phone supports dual 4G connectivity and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. Colour options include Dark Blue, Green, and Silver.
