Apple has officially started rolling out iOS 27.2 to compatible iPhone models, delivering a mix of new capabilities, app improvements, and important security updates. The release addresses more than 160 security vulnerabilities while also expanding several of the company’s AI-powered and creative tools.

One of the key highlights of this update is broader support for Siri AI. The feature can now be used in additional languages, including French, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese, on the iPhone 15 Pro lineup and iPhone 16 models.

iOS 27.2 also adds support for the Apple Pencil (USB-C) on the iPhone Duo, making the company’s stylus more accessible across devices. Alongside that, users will find a new Suggestions feature inside Messages, Shared Albums in Photos, and compatibility with SynthID watermarking in Photos and Image Playground.

Apple has also made several changes to its built-in apps. The Apple TV app now includes Simple Profiles and an improved Multiview experience that can display up to four live sports streams at once. FaceTime’s Dual Capture feature has been extended to group calls, giving users more flexible video-call recording options.

In addition, Apple Music receives a visual refresh with a redesigned app icon in black and white, while the Home app gains new controls that enhance smart-home management. With this update, Apple continues to refine its ecosystem by combining security patches with meaningful software improvements.
