Realme 17 Pro Series Leak Reveals 10,000 mAh Battery, 200MP Camera, and Flat 1.5K OLED Display

Realme’s next mid-range premium lineup may be getting a notable makeover. Months after the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ arrived in January, early rumors about their successors have started to surface. The latest leak comes from a tipster on X and outlines key specifications of a device reportedly being developed as either the Realme 17 Pro or Realme 17 Pro+.

If the information is accurate, the upcoming phone will move to a flat 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. In certain supported games, the display may reportedly reach 165Hz. Under the hood, the handset is said to feature the Dimensity 7500 chipset, paired with a large camera setup led by a 200MP primary sensor.

The leak also mentions a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and an ultrawide shooter whose resolution has not yet been disclosed. Perhaps the most eye-catching claim is the inclusion of a massive 10,000 mAh battery, which would be a major step beyond the current generation.

Other rumored details include a plastic frame and a rear camera module design that is supposedly very similar to the Realme 16 Pro+. Compared with the 16 Pro+, this would mark a shift from a curved screen to a flat one, a change from an aluminum frame to plastic, and a huge battery upgrade from the existing 7,000 mAh cell.

However, the chipset choice adds some confusion. The Realme 16 Pro+ uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform, while the leaked device is linked to the Dimensity 7500. That could suggest this model is closer to the successor of the standard Realme 16 Pro, which also uses a plastic frame.

Still, the rumored camera hardware would be a significant jump if the phone turns out to be the Realme 17 Pro rather than the 17 Pro+. The current Realme 16 Pro does not include a telephoto camera, so a 50MP 3.5x telephoto unit would be a meaningful addition. As usual, these details should be treated as unconfirmed until Realme provides official information.
