The 7-core GPU is reported to offer a 40% enhancement in graphics processing speeds compared to the previous A19 Pro chip. Additionally, the A20 Pro features advanced thermal management with a next-gen vapor chamber that increases efficiency.

The camera system remains robust with three 48MP sensors; however, the main camera now boasts a variable aperture. This feature allows for manual adjustments with an f/4.0 aperture and improved low-light performance, enabling up to 50% more light capture. Apple has not disclosed extensive battery details, but the iPhone 18 Pro Max is claimed to offer the “longest battery life” in iPhone history, boasting up to 45 hours of video playback. The iPhone 18 Pro provides an impressive 36 hours. Both models support rapid charging, with the ability to reach a 50% charge in just 15 minutes.
Software Enhancements
Both devices run on iOS 27, which introduces new Siri AI capabilities. The revamped Siri now works with a broader selection of third-party applications and includes a dedicated app for managing past conversations across Apple devices. However, users in the EU and China will have to wait, as the new features are launching in beta later this month.

The price for the iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 for the 256GB variant, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is available starting at $1,299. Pre-orders are set to begin on September 12, with official sales commencing on September 18.
