Global Launch Imminent: Oppo A7 Pro and A7 Pro Max Make Geekbench Appearance

Oppo is gearing up to introduce its A7 Pro and A7 Pro Max smartphones to global markets, following their recent unveiling in China. Both devices have been detected on the Geekbench benchmark database, hinting at their international specifications and performance capabilities.

The global versions of the A7 Pro and A7 Pro Max are expected to mirror their Chinese counterparts closely. The global A7 Pro, identified by the model number CPH2931, boasts the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max SoC, while the A7 Pro Max, with the model number CPH2909, is equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC, aligning with the specifications of their Chinese releases.

While the processors seem consistent, it’s worth noting that Oppo might tweak other aspects of the devices, including camera specifications and battery capacity. Both models registered on the Geekbench test featured 8GB of RAM and run on Android 16, which is likely the operating system they’ll launch with worldwide.

In China, the A7 Pro is equipped with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display featuring a 1080x2372 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. It offers 256GB of storage, a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP front-facing camera, and an impressive 8,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

The A7 Pro Max, on the other hand, sports a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1272x2772 and also features a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes in storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The camera setup includes a dual 50MP configuration with one dedicated to ultrawide selfies, and it is powered by a massive 10,000 mAh battery that supports rapid 80W wired charging.
