Exciting news for automotive enthusiasts and eco-conscious drivers alike: BMW is set to launch the i4 Convertible, a groundbreaking addition to its electric vehicle lineup. Recently spotted during testing in camouflage, this model promises to combine elegant design with cutting-edge technology.

The upcoming i4 Convertible, which will be BMW's inaugural convertible EV, showcases a soft fabric top instead of a traditional folding hardtop. This move is expected to refresh the market, which currently features few convertible electric vehicles, such as the Fiat 500e Cabrio and the MG Cyberster.

Built upon the innovative BMW i3 platform, the i4 Convertible will feature an advanced 800V architecture, offering an impressive WLTP range of over 497 miles. This performance is aimed at providing drivers with both luxury and sustainability.

With the codename NA3, the i4 Convertible will also embody the latest Neue Klasse design language, highlighted by a sleek closed-off front grille and contemporary headlight design. The vehicle is expected to feature a 2+2 seating arrangement and a two-door configuration, merging style with practicality.

Alongside the i4 Convertible, BMW is planning to unveil the i4 Coupe (NA3) around the same timeframe, potentially in 2028. As both models hit the market, they are set to redefine the electric luxury segment.
