As Samsung continues to innovate in the smartphone market, anticipation is building for its flagship devices slated for release in 2027. Following the recent unveiling of the Galaxy Z8 series, reports indicate that Samsung's next generation of foldable phones will significantly expand the existing lineup, introducing a total of eight new models.

According to a recent report from ET News, Samsung is preparing to launch four new foldable devices in the latter half of 2027. The expected new additions include the Galaxy Z Flip9, Z Fold9, Z Fold9 Ultra, and the Z TriFold 2. This marks Samsung’s most extensive release of foldable phones to date, and contrary to earlier rumors, the Z Flip series remains a vital part of this expansion. Notably, development for the Z TriFold 2 is reportedly progressing well, with component suppliers already being consulted.

In parallel with its foldable offerings, Samsung plans to introduce four Galaxy S27 models in the first half of 2027. This lineup will feature the Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus, targeting more budget-conscious consumers, alongside the premium Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra, which are expected to boast advanced camera capabilities. Among the highlights, the S27 Pro is rumored to come equipped with a compact 6.47-inch display, carving out its niche as a smaller alternative to the S27 Ultra.
