Strava has introduced a range of new features aimed at enhancing the experience for athletes, as stated by the company. Upcoming map style improvements, scheduled for release later this summer, will provide users with more detailed trail surface data as well as clearer points of interest such as trailheads, picnic spots, and campgrounds.
For subscribers, the new Route Saves feature allows users to save routes directly from the Activity Detail page, Route Detail page, Route Builder, and Edit Route sections. Furthermore, subscribers will receive off-route alerts if they deviate from their planned route, while the Activity Replays feature will automatically animate hikes in users' feeds, showcasing their routes from start to finish.
All features mentioned, except for the map style improvements, are currently available to Strava subscribers.
