Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Gains June Security Update and New AI Features

Samsung has rolled out the stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S25 series last month, but it initially excluded the Galaxy AI features that debuted with the Galaxy S26 lineup. Fortunately, these features have now been included in the Galaxy S25 series through the June 2026 Android security update.

The Galaxy AI features introduced are Prioritize Notifications, Summarize Notifications (branded as Notification Highlights), and File Summaries.

The Prioritize Notifications feature highlights critical notifications to ensure that you never miss important alerts. It identifies significant notifications using context-based algorithms and personal data.

As implied by its name, the Summarize Notification feature condenses lengthy notifications into brief, easy-to-read summaries.

The File Summaries feature employs AI to create concise summaries of PDF and TXT files, in addition to recordings from the Voice Recorder.

The June 2026 Android security update carries the firmware version S93xNKSUACZF1 and requires approximately 900MB of storage space. It is currently being rolled out in South Korea, with wider availability expected soon.
