Opera has rolled out an update for its mobile browser on Android, featuring a refreshed design and a specialized hub dedicated to the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup matches.

The updated design closely resembles that of Chrome for Android, incorporating a search bar, an AI mode button, and a private browsing mode button. Additionally, users can customize pinned sites by altering the shapes of their icons.
A key highlight of this update is the new dedicated football hub, which allows fans to keep track of upcoming matches. Users can select their favorite teams and receive real-time scores directly on the start page. The hub also provides schedules and scores for ongoing matches, along with notifications. Powered by AI, it learns from user preferences and adapts over time.

The new design and football hub are available in the latest version of the Opera app.
