Recent news reveals details about the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, which have received 3C certification for charging speeds. Both smartwatches will support 10W charging, consistent with their predecessors. Although Samsung isn't enhancing charging speeds for these upcoming models, a report indicates that the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will feature a larger battery.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will be equipped with a battery rated at 784 mAh, potentially marketed with a typical capacity of 800 mAh. This represents a significant upgrade compared to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which had a 590 mAh battery.

In contrast, the 40mm model of the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 is expected to have a battery rated at 382 mAh, possibly advertised at a typical capacity of 400 mAh. The previous Galaxy Watch8 also had a 40mm variant with a 325 mAh battery.

Furthermore, sources suggest that the Galaxy Watch9's 44mm model will feature a 435 mAh battery, identical to that of the Galaxy Watch8's 44mm variant.

Samsung is also anticipated to launch the Galaxy Watch9 Classic. All three smartwatches are expected to be announced alongside the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, rumored for unveiling on July 22.
