Apple has announced that users of the Photos app will soon be able to play photos and videos as a slideshow. This exciting update includes various new slideshow features.
Users will have the ability to customize their slideshows by selecting transition styles, slide durations, and accompanying music. Additionally, with the release of iOS 27, users will be able to save their slideshows directly as videos in their Photos library.
Other enhancements include emoji reactions in Shared Albums, a view of recent activity in Shared Albums, access to full-resolution photos and videos, and more flexible album organization tools. Users will also be able to save individual video frames as photos.
The app will feature improved search capabilities for finding people and pets, along with new collections such as Captured by Me and Identity Documents.
