Google achieved a significant milestone yesterday as its Gemini model became the foundation of Apple's newly updated Siri. In an effort to capture more market share during the ongoing AI boom, the tech giant has lowered the price of its AI Plus plan.
The cost of the Google AI Plus plan has been reduced from $8 to just $5 per month. Vikas Kansal, the Product Lead for Google AI subscriptions, shared this update on his X account.

We explored various local sites to find the new pricing in different currencies: $5 USD, $7 CAD, £4.50 GBP, €5 EUR, and ₹400 INR. You can check this page to find your local pricing.
Additionally, the storage allocation has been significantly increased from 200GB to 400GB. This storage can be utilized across Gmail, Drive, and Photos, not just for AI-related tasks, effectively replacing the previous Google One plans.
