Next year marks the 20th anniversary of the original iPhone's launch. Apple has been rumored to be planning a special release to celebrate this milestone. Recently, a report suggested that a 20th anniversary iPhone featuring a quad-curved screen would be introduced.
However, it appears that this design will not be exclusive to a special anniversary model. Instead, the upcoming iPhone Pro and Pro Max, set to launch in 2027, will feature the quad-curved screen design. Interestingly, this design was previously adopted by some Chinese smartphone manufacturers, who later reverted to flat-sided formats akin to the iPhone, showcasing a surprising twist in market trends.

In addition, Apple is exploring the implementation of under-display cameras for the 2027 iPhone Pro models. However, the feasibility of this technology remains uncertain. It is likely that the under-display technology may be more applicable for Face ID sensors, but substantial progress in this area has yet to be confirmed.
