Introducing the vivo S50t: A Surprising Twist on the Popular S50

Source: Date:

The vivo S50 was unveiled in December alongside the S50 Pro mini, and today, vivo has officially announced the S50t. If you're curious about what sets this model apart from the original S50, prepare for a surprise—it all comes down to one detail, which you might not guess.

If your answer is "the UFS storage version," then you are correct. The S50 features UFS 4.1 storage, while the S50t opts for the older and more affordable UFS 3.1. That's the only distinction; every other aspect of the two devices is identical.

Additionally, it is equipped with a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging.

The S50t is priced at CNY 3,199 ($468) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model, while the version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage retails for CNY 3,499 ($512). In both instances, the S50t is CNY 100 ($14) cheaper than the original S50.
