Motorola Edge 70 Pro Global Launch: Enhanced Features and Stylish Variants

Motorola has launched the global version of the Edge 70 Pro, which debuted in India last week. This version features a total of four 50MP cameras, including an additional periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, 50X "Super Zoom Pro," optical image stabilization (OIS), and an 81mm equivalent focal length.

In addition to its advanced camera system, the global Edge 70 Pro supports 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging, features not available in the Indian model. While the Indian version is offered in three colors, the global version comes in four, providing more customization options for consumers.

The Indian model is available in Pantone Lily White, Pantone Titan, and Pantone Tea, while the global model adds Pantone Chicory Coffee and Pantone Zinfandel to the mix. The Zinfandel version features a silk-inspired back panel with Pantone Sangria accents, while Chicory Coffee offers a natural wood finish with hints of Pantone Cocoa Cream. The Lily White option has an acetate finish, while Titan presents a wool-inspired design.

The global Edge 70 Pro models vary in thickness, with the wood finish measuring 7.34mm, the acetate finish at 7.29mm, and the silk and wool finishes at a slim 7.19mm. All variants weigh 190 grams, although availability may differ by region.

In essence, all other specifications mirror those of the Indian model, featuring the Dimensity 8500 Extreme SoC, a 6.78-inch 144Hz 1,272p AMOLED display, Android 16, and a robust 6,500 mAh battery with 90W wired and 5W reverse wired charging.

Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, Hi-Res Audio (both wired and wireless), an IP68/IP69 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, and NFC capability.

On the RAM and storage front, the global Edge 70 Pro is equipped with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and offers three UFS 4.1 storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Currently, it is available in the UK and Europe with a 12GB/512GB configuration and two color choices: Pantone Zinfandel and Pantone Titan.

The pricing for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is set at £749.99 in the UK, while it costs €799 in most of Europe, with a higher price of €899 in France. Motorola is also bundling a free Moto Tag and a Moto 125W power adapter for customers in these regions.

In the coming weeks, Motorola has confirmed that the global Edge 70 Pro will also be rolled out in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific markets.
