According to recent rumors, Samsung is developing Galaxy Book laptops that will run Android 17 with One UI 9. While this may seem unusual, Google is currently working on merging ChromeOS with Android to create a new platform called Aluminum OS, which is also based on Android.
It remains unclear whether Samsung’s laptops will run Aluminum OS or if the company is creating a dedicated One UI 9 interface tailored specifically for laptops on top of Android 17. Unfortunately, this report does not provide further technical details.

The lineup is expected to include a variety of models ranging from entry-level to flagship devices, all featuring what Samsung describes as a "very sleek design."
These laptops will also incorporate Galaxy AI features. One UI 9 for laptops is believed to be an enhanced version of Samsung DeX, optimized for a laptop experience. While the exact release date is unknown, the devices could launch before the end of the year, with more information anticipated in the upcoming weeks and months.
