vivo is anticipated to launch the X Fold6 within the next two months, likely in June if it maintains its usual release schedule. New information about the device has emerged online prior to any official announcement.
Initial specifications for the vivo X Fold6 were rumored back in November, indicating it would feature a 200MP camera and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. However, recent leaks suggest that the foldable will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC instead.
vivo X Fold5According to well-known leakster Digital Chat Station, the X Fold6 is set to feature an 8.02-inch UTG display with a 2K resolution on the interior, paired with a 6.51-inch screen on the exterior. This design is quite similar to the vivo X Fold5, which has a 6.53-inch cover display and an 8.03-inch internal screen.
The leak further indicates that the X Fold6 will sport a 200MP primary rear camera, alongside a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies, it is expected to include 20MP cameras on both the inner and outer displays.
Moreover, DCS claims the foldable device will come with a robust 7,000mAh battery and support for wireless charging. Additionally, the X Fold6 is rumored to boast a full water resistance rating.
