Motorola Launches 2026 Razr 70, Razr 70 Plus, and Razr 70 Ultra: Specs and Availability

As anticipated, Motorola has officially launched the 2026 versions of its iconic Razr series for the North American market. These models will be known globally as the Razr 70, Razr 70 Plus, and Razr 70 Ultra. Here's a breakdown of each model.

Motorola Razr 70

The Razr 70 features a 6.9-inch main folding LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x2640, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 3,000-nit peak brightness. It also includes a 3.6-inch LTPS AMOLED cover display with a 1056x1066 resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,700 nits.

Available colors: Pantone Violet Ice and Pantone Sporting Green

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X SoC, the device comes with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of expandable UFS 3.1 storage. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide camera, while selfies are captured with a 32MP front-facing camera.

Equipped with a 4,800 mAh battery, it supports 30W wired and 15W wireless charging, and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Motorola Razr 70 Plus

The Razr 70 Plus features a 6.9-inch "LTPO Extreme AMOLED" display with a resolution of 1084x2640, a 165Hz refresh rate, and 3,000-nit peak brightness. It also has a 4-inch LTPS Extreme AMOLED cover display with a resolution of 1272x1080, a 165Hz refresh rate, and 2,400-nit peak brightness.

This model is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The camera system features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP selfie camera. The device is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 45W wired, 15W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging.

The Razr 70 Plus also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IP48 rating, and runs on Android 16. It will be available in Pantone Mountain View.

Motorola Razr 70 Ultra

The top-tier model, the Razr 70 Ultra, boasts a 7-inch Extreme AMOLED internal display with a resolution of 1224x2992, a 165Hz refresh rate, and an extraordinary peak brightness of 5,000 nits. It also features a 4-inch cover display with a resolution of 1272x1080, a 165Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

This model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The camera configuration includes a 50MP main camera with a LOFIC sensor and OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP selfie camera. It also has an IP48 rating and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Razr 70 Ultra packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 68W wired, 30W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging. It runs Android 16 and is available in Pantone Orient Blue and Pantone Cocoa.

Pricing and Availability

The Razr 70 is priced at $799.99 and will be available for pre-order on May 14 through Best Buy, Amazon, and Motorola. Retail availability at Boost Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, Verizon, Visible, Xfinity Mobile, Consumer Cellular, Google Fi Wireless, and Cox Mobile will commence on May 21. The Razr 70 will also come to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America in the following months.

The Razr 70 Plus is priced at $1,099.99 and will also start pre-orders on May 14 at Best Buy, Amazon, and Motorola. It will be available at AT&T on May 21, with additional availability at T-Mobile and other regions later as the Razr 70 Plus.

Finally, the Razr 70 Ultra will retail for $1,499.99, with pre-orders opening on May 14 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Motorola. This model will be available universally unlocked on May 21, and subsequently in other regions in the coming months as the Razr 70 Ultra.
