Alongside the launch of the new Galaxy S26 series, Samsung introduces the next generation of Galaxy Buds. A recent survey revealed that 58% of users utilize their earbuds daily, emphasizing that sound quality is of utmost importance. Given that many users prefer a single pair of headphones for various activities, the new design prioritizes comfort and portability.
The design of the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro reflects these priorities. Starting with the case, it has been redesigned to allow the buds to lie flat, making retrieval and storage more convenient. A transparent top showcases the newly updated design.

The triangular stems have been replaced with flat, brushed metal blades, which feature engraved touch-sensitive areas for easier tactile recognition. These blades support both pinch and swipe gestures.
As sound quality was a key focus, the Galaxy Buds4 Pro boasts an improved two-way speaker system with a wider woofer and tweeter. The new speakers are nearly 20% larger than those found in the Buds3 Pro and can deliver up to 24-bit 96kHz Hi-Fi sound.
Galaxy Buds4 features: Pinch and swipe controls • 24-bit 96kHz sound • Real-time translation
The standard Galaxy Buds4 adopts an open design for enhanced comfort during prolonged wear, although this design may sacrifice some active noise cancellation (ANC) effectiveness.
Both models are equipped with Enhanced Adaptive ANC, which intelligently adjusts sound levels—reducing engine noise while amplifying siren sounds. They also feature Super Clear Call, which provides 16kHz audio clarity with robust noise reduction.
The Galaxy Buds4 are available in Black and White, while the Buds4 Pro offers an exclusive Pink Gold option available online.

These earbuds are compatible with any smartphone, but Galaxy phone users will enjoy a more seamless experience with additional features. The Buds4 can connect to a Galaxy device without an app, displaying easily accessible controls like a volume slider, ANC toggles, and an ambient sound dial through the Quick Panel.
Hands-free controls are also included; for instance, users can nod to accept calls and shake their heads to decline. Users can summon Bixby to issue commands for smart home devices, and the Interpreter feature allows for real-time translations across multiple languages.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro are available for pre-order today, with a launch date set for March 11, coinciding with the Galaxy S26 series release. The base model is priced at $180 / €180, while the Buds4 Pro is available for $250 / €250—matching the launch prices of the Buds3 and Buds3 Pro in 2024.
