Google has launched a new feature called Game Trials in Google Play Games. This innovative option allows users to try the full version of a paid game for free. If you enjoy the experience, you can easily purchase the game and continue playing from where you left off, as your progress is seamlessly saved.
Game Trials will soon be available for select mobile games and will eventually extend to Google Play Games for PC. Additionally, in some cases, players will only need to buy the game once to access both the mobile and PC versions. Google refers to this as "Buy once, play anywhere." This functionality is already being rolled out for popular titles including the Reigns series, OTTTD, and Dungeon Crawler.
Furthermore, Google is introducing Community Posts for various popular games in English, with plans to expand to more languages and titles soon. This feature provides a dedicated space for players to exchange tips and tricks directly within the Google Play platform.
Starting today, users can utilize Sidekick with select paid games downloaded from Google Play. This tool offers an in-game overlay that curates relevant gaming information and provides AI-generated tips, helping players enhance their gaming experience.
Lastly, Google has announced plans to expand its catalog by adding more paid titles. Expect highly anticipated indie games such as Moonlight Peaks, Sledding Game, and Low-Budget Repairs to arrive on Google Play in the coming months, all compatible across mobile and PC with synchronized progress.
