Vloggers and tech enthusiasts alike have long praised DJI’s Pocket series of gimbal cameras. With the current Pocket 3 nearing its three-year mark, there's been considerable speculation about a new Pocket 4 model emerging.
Recent leaks have suggested a dual-lens design featuring a secondary zoom camera, similar to some of DJI’s drone technology, and a recent leak from Insta360. However, a newly surfaced short video offers a glimpse of a familiar single-lens design for the Pocket 4, albeit with several notable changes. The dual-lens configuration could possibly be introduced with a Pocket 4 Pro variant. Compared to the existing Pocket 3 (which we have on hand), the rumored Pocket 4 appears to feature an elongated stem, a mysterious “C” button, and what seems to be a zoom control. The flip action display remains unchanged, as does the overall gimbal setup. A significant addition is what looks like an LED light attached to one of the gimbal joints—a feature not available for the current Pocket 3, especially with the “OSMO” branding visible on the back.
The leaked video was sourced from a website called “thenewcamera.com,” purportedly filmed in a DJI-authorized store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where an individual entered carrying a Pocket 4. While the story seems a bit extravagant, it’s not the first time early footage of unreleased DJI products has emerged from Malaysia.

Unfortunately, the video spends little time on software features, but we note a new “SuperPhoto” 33MP mode for still images. An earlier Amazon Denmark listing for the unannounced Pocket 4 suggests it will maintain a 1-inch camera sensor, while enhancing the recording capability with 4K video at 240fps, compared to the current limit of 4K at 120fps. There may also be a larger battery, reflecting the taller stem design. The Amazon listing indicated a retail price range of $550 to $700, depending on the chosen bundle, which buyers in Asia and Europe can anticipate. However, prices in the US are likely to be higher due to tariffs, and it remains to be seen whether DJI can market the Pocket 4 in the US, given the “foreign-made drones” ban.
