We are reviewing vivo's latest addition to the smartphone market, the V70 series. Previously, we shared our impressions of the V70 Elite. Now, let’s dive into the unboxing of the vivo V70.
Our review unit, in Alpine Grey, comes with a 90W charger, a USB-C to USB-A cable, and a straightforward silicone case.
Unboxing the vivo V70
The Alpine Grey color is quite intriguing, shifting between a light brown and a subtle rose hue depending on the lighting conditions. The actual back panel displays a light grey finish, complemented by a slightly darker grey frame.
With its 6.59-inch display and sub-8mm profile, the phone feels impressively compact in hand.

The vivo V70 boasts a well-balanced design with flat surfaces and softly rounded corners. Vivo has polished the aluminum frame multiple times, leading to a refined finish. All surfaces are subtly matte, except for the glossy glass of the display and camera lenses, creating a premium feel.

Stepping away from the design, the V-series is known for its camera capabilities, as denoted by the Zeiss logo on the back. The V70 features a classic triple rear camera setup: a 23mm f/1.9 main camera and an 85mm f/2.7 zoom, both with 50MP sensors, alongside an 8MP 15mm f/2.2 ultrawide lens. This trio includes a customizable ring flash known as Aura flash.
The front of the device houses a 21mm selfie camera with a 50MP sensor.

Holding the vivo V70 evokes a sense of presence. It bears a resemblance to Oppo's Reno15 Pro, though the latter is slightly smaller and exudes a more premium quality. The V70 is equipped with a robust 6,500mAh battery that is designed to withstand extreme temperature conditions, which is a valuable trait.

The V70 is already available for pre-order in regions like India, with shipping expected to commence on February 26. It is also set to launch in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
