Apple is encountering significant challenges in the development of its AI-driven platform, Apple Intelligence, along with an upgraded version of its virtual assistant, Siri. Initially revealed during WWDC 2024, Apple has yet to fulfill its promises. Additionally, Mark Gurman has reported that the updated Siri will not be included in the upcoming iOS 26.4 update due to complications that arose during internal testing.

However, this information stemmed from an internal report by an Apple employee. When asked about the launch timeline in a CNBC interview, a company executive provided a simple yet reassuring response: "Still on track to launch in 2026."
Given the credibility of high-ranking executives, we are inclined to trust this information over online rumors. While the 2026 timeline may seem vague, it is reasonable to presume that the Siri update will debut after the iOS 26.4 release, likely coinciding with the launch of the iPhone 18 series.
Recently, we reported on Apple's revised strategy regarding the AI-driven Health+ service. Instead of a singular launch, the company has decided to decompose the service into individual features, which will be introduced incrementally for the existing Apple Health platform. This suggests a restructuring process may be contributing to the delays mentioned.
