A report from last year suggested that Apple was developing a new AI-driven Health+ service capable of offering personalized suggestions based on user health data, including exercise form correction through the iPhone camera. However, recent rumors indicate that the company is scaling back its efforts.

Following the reorganization of its Health and Fitness teams under the Services division, led by Eddy Cue, Apple has decided to abandon the development of the Health+ service. Cue has expressed concerns about the company's competitiveness in the wellness market.
According to internal sources, Cue emphasized the need for Apple to expedite its initiatives in the health sector. However, the presence of established competitors like Oura has led to a saturation of the market, with many providing diverse health-oriented features on iOS.
Rather than launching Health+, Apple plans to integrate the features it has already developed into its existing Health app. For example, functionality that offers personalized recommendations based on user data is expected to be introduced this year, alongside a forthcoming AI health chatbot to address wellness inquiries.
