Toyota is preparing to expand its electric vehicle lineup with an exciting new model. The company has offered a sneak peek at the interior of its forthcoming three-row SUV, which is set to officially debut on February 10, 2026. While some details remain under wraps, it’s clear that this vehicle is built with large families in mind, providing ample space.
There has been much speculation about whether Toyota would produce an electric version of its popular Highlander. The latest teaser images suggest that this new model is indeed a direct evolution of the Highlander. The photos reveal three rows of seating, a significant development since Toyota's current largest electric model, the bZ Woodland, only offers two rows and measures 190.2 inches in length.

For comparison, the standard Highlander is approximately 195 inches long. This new electric SUV will likely position itself in the large SUV category, offering parents abundant space for children, pets, and groceries.
Inside, the vehicle boasts a modern aesthetic with a prominent touchscreen that juts out from the dashboard, similar to the 14-inch screens featured in the latest Toyota bZ and C-HR models. This screen will control everything from entertainment to navigation, and middle-row passengers will enjoy their own temperature controls to avoid disagreements over comfort. Notably, a substantial glass roof will flood the cabin with natural light, enhancing the feeling of spaciousness.

The decision to shift production from Indiana to Kentucky ensures that the company can meet demand efficiently. Additionally, a similar model will be produced for Subaru at the same facility.
While official figures regarding speed and battery life are still pending, anticipation is running high. The current bZ Woodland generates 375 horsepower and offers a range of about 260 miles on a single charge. Given its larger size, the new SUV might require an even bigger battery to achieve long-distance travel without the need for frequent charging.

This decision means that once the SUV is on the market, owners will have access to thousands of fast chargers nationwide, with charging from 10% to 80% expected to take about 30 minutes under optimal conditions.
The wait is nearly over. On February 10, Toyota will unveil the complete vehicle and reveal its specifications, marking a significant step for the automaker as it seeks to keep pace with competitors. After years of anticipation, it seems the ultimate electric family hauler is finally on the horizon.
