Upcoming iPhone Fold and iPhone 18 Pro Series: Key Specifications and Features

An analyst has revealed expected specifications for Apple's upcoming foldable iPhone and the iPhone 18 Pro series, both anticipated to launch this September.

This information was shared by Jeff Pu, an analyst at GF Securities, who outlined the specs in an investor note.

According to Pu, the iPhone Fold will feature a 7.8-inch inner display alongside a 5.3-inch cover screen. It will be powered by the A20 Pro chipset and will also include Apple’s N2 chip. The device is expected to come with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, Touch ID, and the C2 modem.

The iPhone Fold will boast a dual 48MP rear camera setup and will be equipped with 18MP selfie cameras both on the inside and on the cover display.

In addition, the iPhone 18 Pro series will utilize the A20 Pro SoC, N2 chip, and C2 modem. Both the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are expected to feature 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with 18MP front cameras. However, a recent report suggests that all iPhone 18 models may include a 24MP selfie camera. As for the rear cameras, it is anticipated that both models will offer a 48MP main camera with a variable aperture, a 48MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 48MP ultrawide camera.

The iPhone 18 Pro is projected to have a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max will feature a larger 6.9-inch display. Both phones are also rumored to include an under-display Face ID setup.
