Nothing Confirms Its First AI-Native Product Will Launch Next Month, With a Screenless Teaser

Nothing has officially confirmed that its first AI-native product will debut next month, fulfilling a goal CEO Carl Pei previously outlined for 2026. The announcement signals a major next chapter for the company as it moves beyond smartphones into a new category of AI-focused hardware.

Keeping true to Nothing’s teaser-driven style, Pei has revealed only a handful of details. In an article shared on X, he confirmed that the product will not have a screen and “couldn’t have been an app.” The post also included a brief teaser image, offering just a partial view of a device with rounded corners and curved edges.

Beyond that, little is known about the device itself. Pei said it will carry the “personality and care” that Nothing is known for, and pointed to the company’s in-house control over both hardware and software as a major advantage in developing it.

The article also reflects on how AI is evolving from a productivity tool into something that increasingly works alongside users in a more personal and proactive way. Pei also noted that new technologies often gain wider acceptance in workplace settings before becoming common in everyday life.

With Nothing also reportedly exploring AI-powered wearables, including smart glasses with and without cameras, the upcoming product may be part of a broader push into the company’s next generation of connected devices.
