Motorola has expanded its wearable lineup with two new devices announced alongside the Signature 27 smartphone. The Moto Watch 2 Fit brings Polar-powered fitness features to the Fit series for the first time, while the Moto Buds 2 Ultra become Motorola's most premium true wireless earbuds yet, featuring Bose audio tuning and a stronger focus on creators and podcasters.
The Moto Watch 2 Fit centers on a 1.85-inch OLED display with a 390 x 450 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 1,500 nits of peak brightness. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and framed by thin 2mm bezels. Underneath, the watch runs RTOS and includes a 400mAh battery. Motorola says it can last up to 7 days with the always-on display enabled, up to 12 days with the always-on display turned off, and up to 16 days in low-power mode. A 10-minute charge is said to provide up to 24 hours of use.
The watch measures 42.88 x 38.65 x 9.95mm, weighs 28.1g, and has an aluminum body. It is rated IP68 and 5ATM for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for everyday wear and wet-weather activities.
Moto Watch 2 Fit design highlights
The biggest addition in this generation is a set of Polar fitness features, including Running Index, which provides insight into aerobic fitness and running efficiency. Other Polar-powered capabilities include Nightly Recharge, Sleep Plus Stages, Serene breathing exercises, Smart Calories, Energy Sources, and Activity Intensity Zones. Motorola's own heart-rate, SpO2, and stress tracking are also included, along with automatic detection for more than 100 workout types and dual-frequency L1/L5 GPS for improved location accuracy.
For the first time on a Moto watch, menstrual cycle tracking is supported. The watch also offers Bluetooth 5.4 call handling, and Motorola says Qira support will arrive in the coming months.
The Moto Buds 2 Ultra sit at the top of Motorola's current earbuds lineup. They feature Bose SoundDesign tuning, Bose QuietControl active noise cancellation, and a transparency mode. Each earbud pairs an 11mm dynamic driver with a Knowles balanced armature, aiming for a fuller sound profile with stronger detail across the frequency range.

The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Head Tracking on compatible Motorola phones. Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity includes SBC, AAC, LHDC 4, and LHDC 5 codec support. For calls and voice capture, each bud has three microphones and a dedicated voice pickup unit, positioning the Buds 2 Ultra as a stronger option for content creators and podcasters.
Battery life is rated at up to 8 hours on a single charge, with up to 37 hours total when using the case. Motorola has not specified whether those figures include ANC, so they are likely based on ANC being disabled. A 10-minute charge should deliver up to 3 hours of playback. The case supports Qi2 wireless charging, and both the buds and case are IP57-rated.
Additional features include AI Live Translate, head gestures for answering or declining calls, Dual Connection, Audio Share, Find Hub integration, and access to Motorola Qira by long-pressing the left earbud. A "Hey Qira" wake word is also expected later.

The Moto Buds 2 Ultra are priced at €199 and come in Pantone Temple Gray and Pantone Reflecting Pond.
