Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava has announced that the prices of its handsets will increase by as much as INR 3,000 starting November 15, 2026. The company has cited persistent memory chip shortages as the reason behind the price revision and has advised buyers to consider purchasing their devices before the change takes effect.

In a statement, Lava explained that the current industry conditions have made it necessary to adjust prices across its smartphone range. The company also noted that its smartphones are currently available at festive discounts on leading e-commerce platforms and in offline stores, giving consumers a short window to upgrade at more affordable prices.

Lava said, “In the current industry environment, ongoing memory shortages have necessitated a price revision of up to INR 3,000 across our smartphone portfolio, effective 15th November, 2026. Consumers looking to upgrade their devices have a strong opportunity at this moment, as our products are currently available at festive prices across leading e-commerce platforms and offline retail network. We would encourage customers to take advantage of the ongoing offers, before the revision comes into effect.”

While the company has confirmed that prices may rise by up to INR 3,000, it has not yet shared the exact price increase for each smartphone model sold in India.
