Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava has announced that the prices of its smartphones in India may increase by as much as INR 3,000 from 15 November 2026. The company said the revision is being made due to ongoing memory shortages in the industry and has encouraged customers planning to buy a new handset to consider purchasing before the price change takes effect.
In an official statement, Lava said that the current industry environment has made a price adjustment necessary across its smartphone lineup. The company added that its smartphones are currently available at festive prices on leading e-commerce platforms and through its offline retail network, urging buyers to make use of the ongoing offers before the revised prices come into force.
While Lava has confirmed that the price increase could be up to INR 3,000, it has not yet disclosed the exact amount of the hike for each smartphone model sold in India.
