Introduction: Motorola has finally locked in a launch date for its much-talked-about Signature 27. After teasing the device at Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit in September and hinting at a November release, the company has now confirmed the handset will arrive on November 5.
The phone was initially showcased months ago, but Motorola kept key details under wraps. Its Indian website recently listed the Signature 27 as "coming this November," and the new confirmation narrows that window to a single day.
From what has been revealed so far, the Signature 27 will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 platform, paired with an ArcticMesh cooling system and a vapor chamber that is 40% larger than last year's model.
The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony Lytia 910 main sensor with OIS and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, while audio is tuned by Bang & Olufsen. The device will ship with Android 17 and is promised to receive seven years of OS updates.
Motorola has not yet shared the complete camera specifications, and the sizable camera bump suggests there may be more sensors to come. A recent European retailer listing also indicates that the Signature 27 will be positioned as a premium, high-priced device.
