Samsung appears to be keeping its flagship charging formula for another generation. The upcoming Galaxy S27 has reportedly passed certification by UL Solutions, also known as Demko, and the listing supports the company's earlier 25W wired charging claim for the device.
Earlier 3C certification information tied to model code SM-S9520 already suggested that the Galaxy S27 would support 25W charging. Now, multiple Samsung device listings certified by Demko appear to confirm the same charging speed, strengthening the case that the new flagship will match the previous generation rather than increase wired charging capacity.
According to the certificates, the listed devices use a 9V DC and 2.77A power specification, which calculates to 24.93W. In practical terms, that is expected to be advertised as 25W charging, the same wired charging speed offered on the Galaxy S26.
Beyond wired charging, Samsung is also expected to keep its wireless charging rating unchanged. The Galaxy S26 supported 15W wireless charging, and current expectations suggest the Galaxy S27 will likely continue with the same wireless speed.
One key detail remains unconfirmed: battery capacity. If Samsung follows the same path, the Galaxy S27 may retain a 4,300 mAh battery, but this has not been officially verified. For now, the new certification at least gives stronger support to the widely reported 25W charging spec.
