iQOO has officially introduced the iQOO Neo12 in China, bringing a performance-focused smartphone with an integrated active cooling fan and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The Neo12 features a custom 59-blade fan that improves airflow by around 10 percent, alongside a large 3D Ice Dome vapor chamber for better heat dissipation.
On the front, the device sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display developed by Visionox. The panel uses p-TSF technology and offers a 185Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution, and up to 2,200 nits of peak brightness. A dedicated display chip also helps manage the screen’s operations.
For gaming, the iQOO Neo12 includes iQOO’s in-house Q3 gaming chip, which supports ray tracing in select titles, 2K resolution upscaling, and frame-rate interpolation.
In terms of optics, the handset is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX921 main rear sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 16MP front-facing sensor handles selfies.
A large 9,000mAh battery powers the Neo12, supported by 100W wired charging. The device also includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, IP69 rating, and stereo speakers.
Color options for the iQOO Neo12 include Contender, Frost Blade Blue, and Shadow Black.
