Lava has officially launched the Virat Curve, a new smartphone that brings premium features to an accessible price point. With its stunning display and powerful performance, the Virat Curve is designed to cater to both everyday users and tech enthusiasts alike.
The device boasts a spacious 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,100 nits, making it a joy for multimedia consumption and gaming. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC, coupled with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of fast UFS 2.2 storage for seamless multitasking and storage needs.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP rear camera equipped with Sony's IMX752 sensor, complemented by a 13MP front camera for high-quality selfies. The device is powered by a robust 6,000 mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging, with a 33W charger included in the box for convenience. In terms of durability, the Virat Curve comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The smartphone also features dual speakers, dual microphones, an IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for added functionality. It runs on "clean Android 16", which promises a bloatware-free experience along with no ads, ensuring a smooth user experience. Lava commits to providing two major OS updates and three years of security updates for the device.
The Lava Virat Curve will be available starting September 28 in three attractive colors—Heritage Indigo, Makrana Ivory, and Ellora Slate—offered at a special launch price of INR 19,999 (approximately $208).
