Certification Milestone for Honor Win 2 and Win 2 RT Smartphones

In a notable development for fans of Honor smartphones, renowned leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed that the much-anticipated Honor Win 2 and Win 2 RT models have recently received certification for sale in China. This certification marks a significant step toward their imminent launch, adding to the excitement surrounding these devices.

The Honor Win 2 impressively boasts 100W wired charging capabilities, while the Win 2 RT offers a slightly lower 90W charging. This distinction may be seen as a compromise for the more budget-friendly RT variant, particularly considering that its predecessor, the original Win RT, also supported 100W charging.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Win 2 stands out as the only smartphone set for release this year that combines Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset with a robust battery exceeding 10,000 mAh, an integrated cooling fan designed for enhanced performance, and an ultra-high refresh rate display with "2K" resolution.

The previous models, Win and Win RT, were officially announced last December. However, with the rapid pace of new smartphone launches in China this year, an earlier unveiling of the Win 2 and Win 2 RT seems increasingly likely.

As per earlier reports, the Win 2 features an impressive 6.89-inch OLED display, complemented by a remarkable 185Hz refresh rate and an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for seamless security. Meanwhile, the Win 2 RT is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, offering solid performance for users.
