Huawei has officially launched the MatePad Air (2026), a powerful new addition to its tablet lineup, in Malaysia and select countries in the Middle East. This latest offering promises an elevated user experience, combining advanced technology with a sleek design.

The tablet was first revealed last month, coinciding with the introduction of the Huawei FreeClip 2 S, and has since received a positive reception from tech enthusiasts. We had the opportunity to explore its features during the official launch event in Malaysia, further enhancing our understanding of this innovative device.

The Huawei MatePad Air (2026) is now available in Malaysia, priced at MYR 3,500 ($860 / €745 / ₹82,500) for the 8/256GB PaperMatte Edition. This price includes either a keyboard or an M-Pencil Pro stylus in the box, making it a comprehensive package for users. Interested consumers can purchase the tablet through the official Huawei Malaysia website.

Additionally, the tablet is making waves in the Middle East, with notable prices being SR 3,300 in Saudi Arabia and QAR 3,100 in Qatar. Although it is also available in the UAE, some purchase options seem to be malfunctioning at present.
