This integration will unify the software experiences of the three interconnected brands—OnePlus, Realme, and Oppo—under ColorOS. This strategic shift is expected to streamline research and development costs while signifying a broader consolidation effort within the companies.
Recently, OnePlus Germany has been encouraging customers to consider Oppo devices, and stock availability on OnePlus UK has been notably low. The insider indicates that OnePlus’s focus is pivoting towards markets in India and China, suggesting a winding down of operations elsewhere. Notably, after-sales support for OnePlus users in India is already coordinated through Oppo.

Historically, Oppo has had a low profile in the U.S., and OnePlus has failed to capture more than 1% market share, making it largely unknown.
