Tecno has unveiled the latest addition to its Slim series, the Camon Slim. Although it shares some specifications and a similar aesthetic with the Pova Slim and Spark Slim, the Camon Slim stands out as a unique offering.
The phone boasts a remarkably stylish design, featuring a sleek 6.39mm curved unibody available in five distinctive finishes. The New Mondrian variant incorporates the iconic Mondrian pattern, enhanced with a photochromic finish. When exposed to ultraviolet light, this finish reveals vibrant blocks of yellow, green, and cyan on the back.
Other finishes include Prism Black and Jungle Green, both characterized by a 3D crystal diamond pattern, while Van Gogh Blue features a representation of the famous Starry Night along with a matte texture.
For durability, the Camon Slim is both IP69 and IP68 rated, ensuring resistance to dust and water.
In terms of specifications, the Camon Slim sports a 6.78-inch 144Hz display with a resolution of 1224x2720 pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 SoC, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and offers storage options of either 128GB or 256GB. The device is equipped with a 5,600mAh battery that supports 60W charging.
In terms of photography, the Camon Slim features a single 50MP Lytia 600 (1/2") camera on the rear and a 32MP selfie camera at the front.
An innovative LED panel, consisting of 354 LEDs and supporting 55 unique lighting scenes, is positioned between the two lenses of the rear camera.
Tecno plans to launch the Camon Slim in multiple markets and will provide details on pricing and availability soon.
