The report further indicates that Samsung Display's manufacturing facility in Vietnam has begun operations. Apple has reportedly requested an initial batch of 3 million OLED panels for this year.

While earlier reports suggested that Apple would utilize Samsung Display's M14 display stack, the latest information points to a preference for the more advanced M16 luminescent material.

The M16 stack is believed to offer enhanced brightness, improved color reproduction, superior power efficiency, and an extended lifespan. Additionally, the OLED panels are expected to feature Color Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) technology.
