Honor Play 70C Launched: A Budget Smartphone with 5,300mAh Battery and 6.75-Inch Display

Honor has officially launched the budget-friendly Play 70C in China. This device features a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset and is equipped with a substantial 5,300mAh battery. Additionally, the company revealed the Play 80 Plus, boasting an impressive 7,500mAh battery and Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC.

The Honor Play 70C sports a 6.75-inch LCD display that delivers HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

For photography, it offers a single 13MP rear camera capable of 1080p video recording and up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, users can expect a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The device is powered by the octa-core MediaTek chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Out of the box, it runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0. In terms of connectivity, the Honor Play 70C supports dual SIM, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.

This smartphone is available in three color options: Ink Rock Black, Lake Blue, and Moonlit Silver.

Currently, the Honor Play 70C is on sale in China, starting at CNY 599 ($90) for the 4GB/64GB variant, while the 4GB/128GB option is priced at CNY 699 ($105), and the 6GB/128GB model retails for CNY 799 ($115).
