The Honor Play 80 Plus has officially launched as the newest addition to the Honor Play 80 series, joining the previously announced Play 80 and Play 80 Pro earlier this year in China. This model boasts an impressive 7,500mAh battery along with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset.

It features a 6.61-inch TFT LCD display that offers HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,010 nits. The screen includes a punch-hole cutout for a 5MP front-facing camera. The rear houses a single 13MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture, capable of recording video in up to 1080p.

Powering the Play 80 Plus is a robust 7,500mAh battery, which is estimated to support up to 20 hours of video playback. Honor claims that the battery will retain up to 80% of its capacity after six years of usage. The device supports 45W wired charging and also offers reverse charging capabilities.

Play 80 Plus boasts Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 and an AI shortcut

Running on MagicOS 10.0, based on Android 16, the phone is equipped with Honor’s AI suite. A dedicated AI button allows users to quickly access the AI assistant, as well as launch apps and shortcuts seamlessly. Additionally, the device comes with IP64 ingress protection.

The Honor Play 80 Plus is available in three color options: Aquamarine, Black, and Gold. In China, the pricing starts at CNY 1,699 (approximately $249/€213) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, going up to CNY 2,099 (around $307/€263) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model.
