Honor Play 70C Launches with Impressive Battery and Display Features

Honor has officially launched a new budget smartphone in China, the Play 70C. This device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset and boasts a robust 5,300mAh battery. Alongside this model, the company also introduced the Play 80 Plus, featuring a substantial 7,500mAh battery and Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC.

The Honor Play 70C is equipped with a generous 6.75-inch LCD display, providing HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the single 13MP rear camera, capable of 1080p video recording and offering up to 10x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, the front-facing 5MP camera delivers satisfactory performance.

With its 5,300mAh battery, the Play 70C ensures prolonged usage. The octa-core MediaTek chipset can be paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The device runs on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 right out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the Honor Play 70C supports dual SIM functionality with 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio enthusiasts.

Available color options for the Honor Play 70C include Ink Rock Black, Lake Blue, and Moonlit Silver.

The smartphone is currently available for purchase in China, with prices starting at CNY 599 ($90) for the 4GB/64GB variant. The 4GB/128GB model is priced at CNY 699 ($105), while the 6GB/128GB option is available for CNY 799 ($115).
