The vivo S50 was unveiled in December alongside the S50 Pro mini, and today, vivo has officially launched the S50t. If you're curious about the differences between this model and the original S50, prepare for a surprise: there’s only one notable change.
If you guessed "the UFS storage version," you’re right. The S50 features UFS 4.1 storage, while the S50t opts for the older, more affordable UFS 3.1. That’s the sole distinction; all other features remain identical.

Like the S50, the S50t boasts a 6.59-inch 1260x2750 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It comes with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a versatile camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera. The device is complemented by a robust 6,500 mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging.
The price for the S50t with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is CNY 3,199 ($468), while the version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is priced at CNY 3,499 ($512). In both instances, the S50t is CNY 100 ($14) less expensive than the S50.
