According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Apple is set to unveil a new entry-level MacBook Pro powered by the M6 chip by the end of this year. This timeline also appears to apply to several new iMac models.
The anticipated MacBook Ultra, featuring an OLED touchscreen and expected to be available in 14" and 16" variants, is reportedly scheduled for release between late this year and early next year. This model will be equipped with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips and is currently being tested with macOS 27.1, which is likely to launch at the end of October, indicating that the hardware won't be available before that date.
An updated MacBook Air is planned for early 2027. Later that year, Apple will introduce a redesigned entry-level MacBook Pro with the M7 chip, as well as a new MacBook Neo powered by the A19 Pro chip. The MacBook Neo will reportedly see periodic color refreshes.
Additionally, a Mac mini featuring M5 Pro and entry-level M6 chips is in testing, along with Mac Studio models powered by the M5 Max and M5 Ultra. The release schedule for these models remains uncertain, as it depends on the availability of memory chips. A MacBook Air with an OLED display could debut as early as 2028, followed by an OLED iMac after that.
