In a previous promotional stunt, Honor sent Joe Weller ziplining to showcase the strength of the Honor Magic V6's hinge. The latest demonstration, however, took place on home turf—an Honor manager performed pull-ups using the V6.
In this instance, the manager's weight was supported by the phone's hinge, with both sides of the device secured to the ceiling, much like during the ziplining attempt. While this position is not the hinge's weakest point, it certainly exceeds the strain the hinge would typically encounter during everyday use.

The hinge is constructed from specialized 2800MPa steel, which ensures structural stability and impact resistance. This steel is notably more expensive than titanium alloy, costing twice as much.
Honor officially unveiled the Magic V6 at the start of the month, but key details regarding pricing and availability remain undisclosed.
