In comparison, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro often struggle to stay comfortably settled in my ears, but the AirPods Pro 3 nailed the fit almost immediately.
Once I finally gave the AirPods Pro 3 a proper try, I realized that the marketing hype around them wasn’t just noise — these earbuds truly deliver a remarkable experience.
Pro Tip: Try All the Ear Tip Sizes
One standout feature is the inclusion of five different sizes of silicone tips. I strongly recommend experimenting with all of them, including the surprisingly small XXS size, which I ended up using for a completely isolated and secure fit.

We Crave Custom EQ Settings
The AirPods Pro 3 deliver a richer sound signature than ever, with deeper lows and sparkling highs that stand out. However, what many users really want is the ability to customize the EQ to their preferences.

With iOS 17, the AirPods Pro 3 along with AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2 introduce an automatic volume adjustment feature. When surrounding sounds grow louder, the music volume increases automatically, and when the environment quiets down, the volume dips accordingly. This feature makes it easier to stay immersed without manually tweaking the volume.
Additionally, their advanced ANC dynamically adjusts to noise levels, sometimes blending transparency mode in when quieter sounds like speech are detected — allowing conversations without removing the earbuds.
A Fantastic Package With Minor Caveats
Like many great Apple products, the AirPods Pro 3 leave you thinking, “If only this tiny detail could be adjusted, it would be perfect.” They boast excellent fit, top-tier noise cancellation, and clever smart features. Sonically, they lean toward a clean and clinical sound which might not satisfy everyone. If that suits your taste, and you’re using an iPhone or iPad to unlock the earbuds’ full potential, they remain the earbuds to beat.
