OnePlus provided the phone in a special media kit, featuring a large black box containing the phone, two magnetic charging cases, and some accessories. This is not the retail packaging; consumers will receive only the phone as shown above when purchased.

The OnePlus 15R is available in three colors: Mint Breeze (shown here), Charcoal Black, and Electric Violet. The Electric Violet version, branded as the Ace Edition, is exclusive to the Indian market. Like the Sand Storm variant of the OnePlus 15, the Electric Violet 15R features a fiberglass back, while the Mint Breeze and Charcoal Black models have standard glass backs.

The design of the OnePlus 15R carries forward the aesthetic introduced earlier this year, including vertically stacked cameras and a squared camera bump that extends outward. The dual rear camera system incorporates the DetailMax Engine and supports 4K video recording at 120fps, matching the flagship OnePlus 15.

The OnePlus 15R is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, making it the first smartphone globally to launch with this processor. It also features a dedicated Wi-Fi chip and a dedicated touch response chip. The display offers a 165Hz refresh rate, with OnePlus promising a stable 120fps performance in gaming. All these components are supported by a robust 7400mAh battery. Additionally, the device is certified with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

Regarding accessories, buyers can choose between two magnetic cases. The first is the Hole-Pattern Magnetic Case, similar to the one introduced with the OnePlus 15. It features a customizable pattern with red rubber inserts that users can arrange on the back. The second option is the Sandstone Magnetic Case, designed with OnePlus’s iconic sandstone finish. However, a standard case is included in the box, so purchasing an additional case is optional.
