Lava recently introduced the Play Max as the newest member of its Play Series, following the release of the Lava Play Ultra in August.

Designed for today’s youth who balance studies, social media, entertainment, and gaming, the Lava Play Max is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and runs a clean, bloat-free Android 15 experience. It offers up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD.

The device features Vapor Chamber (VC) cooling technology, which Lava claims ensures stable performance without overheating during extended gaming sessions on popular titles like Call of Duty Mobile, Free Fire, BGMI, and more.

The Play Max sports a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. Photography features include an 8MP front camera and a 50MP primary rear sensor with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and 4K video recording at 30fps.

Additionally, the phone holds an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and is available in Deccan Black and Himalayan White. It comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at ₹12,999 (approx. $145/€125), and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage for ₹14,999 (approx. $165/€145).

The Lava Play Max will launch in India later this month, although the exact date remains undisclosed. The company also confirmed the inclusion of its “Free Service @ Home” support for buyers.
