Samsung is preparing for the launch of the Galaxy S26 Ultra by introducing its new 60W charger, marking the company's first foray into wired charging faster than 45W for its smartphones.
The device, named the Samsung 60W Power Adapter (model EP-T6010NBEGWW), has appeared on Samsung’s official websites across Europe—including Austria, Sweden, and Romania—as well as in South America (Peru) and parts of the Middle East (Levant).

This charger features a single USB-C port and supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 with a notably low standby power consumption of just 5mW. It complies with USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) standards at 5V, 15V, and 20V, as well as Programmable Power Supply (PPS) at 5-20V up to 3A. However, it does not support Adaptive Voltage Scaling (AVS).
By comparison, Samsung’s previous 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0 adapter (model EP-T4511XBEGGB) was limited to 3A at 15V and 2.25A at 20V, capping its output at 45W.
Samsung 60W Power Adapter Features
Samsung promotes the 60W adapter not only for smartphones but also for Galaxy tablets and Galaxy Book laptops. Although no current Galaxy tablet supports charging beyond 45W, the upcoming Tab S12 series may introduce higher speeds. Meanwhile, Galaxy Book laptops commonly support 65W charging.
For enhanced safety, the charger includes temperature, overcurrent, and short circuit protection mechanisms. It is also engineered to operate with low electrical noise.

In Europe, the Samsung 60W Power Adapter is available exclusively in black and is priced at €53.
Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to support faster wireless charging up to 25W, an increase from the S25 Ultra’s 15W wireless charging. The S26 and S26+ models will likely support 20W wireless charging. However, the standard Galaxy S26 flagship's wired charging capabilities are reported to be less advanced.
